Lady luck smiled on Mecca Bingo Acocks Green as mother of three Joanne Mills, walked home with the National Prize of £25,000 on the National Bingo Game AND a share of the £100,000 Win, Shout, Share Prize.

Joanne, aged 37, was playing bingo with her mum Linda, on their monthly bingo night out on Saturday 27th September, when she called house!

Fortunately the pair have an agreement in place that they will always split their winnings evenly, turning what was becoming a frugal Christmas into a great one for all the family!

“We’re still in shock. At first I thought I had just won the house prize, which was around £120 but when they came and told me I’d won the National Prize I rushed to the toilets and burst out crying! I’ve had some home improvements to take care of and this means I can finally get them done. It also means that me, mum and my three girls can have a great Christmas this year” said Joanne Mills.

Not only did Joanne scoop the £25,000 National Prize on the National Bingo Game, but shouting house also secured a £100,000 Win, Shout, Share Jackpot for everyone in the club to split evenly.

All the winners from Mecca Bingo Acocks Green were treated to a special Win, Shout, Share winners’ party on Saturday 4 October, where they all received their winnings.

Win, Shout, Share is a special event operated by the National Bingo Game, which offers a £50,000 community prize in the afternoon session and £100,000 in the evening to share between all eligible players in the winning club. It’s in addition to the National Prize and National Jackpot.
